Do you have minor crookedness or crowding of your front teeth as shown above? At Traders Point Dental, we are pleased to offer the revolutionary Inman Aligner to quickly and effectively straighten your front teeth in a matter of weeks. Compared to traditional and invisible braces, the Inman Aligner is also more cost effective.

How does the Inman Aligner work?
Similar to the Invisalign system, the Inman Aligner is a removable appliance used to move teeth over time. But unlike Invisalign, the Aligner relies on forces created by coiled springs that gently “push” and “pull” the front teeth into a nearly ideal position in a much shorter time. The animation to the right illustrates the forces involved in this movement.

Why should you use the Inman Aligner?
It is a faster, cost-effective alternative to traditional and invisible braces.
 • Only one appliance is required – no need to change every 2 weeks.
It can be easily removed to eat and clean your teeth.

Is everyone a candidate for the Inman Aligner?
No. The Inman Aligner is limited to movements of the upper and lower front teeth. For most patients with mildly crowded or rotated front teeth, it is a fast and effective solution that can have you smiling with confidence in a matter of weeks. It is not a treatment for the full arch (all your teeth) and may not be suitable for heavily crowded situations. Dr. Sang also offers Six Month Smiles™ and Invisalign for more complex cases. Let Dr. Sang discuss which treatment option is most appropriate for you.

How long does treatment take?
Treatment times for most cases generally range from six to sixteen weeks. Naturally, more crowded front teeth will require more time. The speed of the results is highly dependent upon how long you wear the Aligner each day. It is recommended that you wear the Aligner for at least 20 hours a day, every day, until treatment is complete.

Is it uncomfortable?
Just like any orthodontic treatment, at first it may feel uncomfortable and will take some getting used to. You may need an occasional Tylenol or Advil for the first few days of treatment if you encounter any discomfort. The Inman Aligner will affect your speech for a week or two and may cause you to salivate more during this time. But you will become accustomed to the fit of the Aligner and your speech will improve with time.

How do I get started?
Dr. Sang and his staff will be happy to discuss if the Inman Aligner is an appropriate solution for you.
