Traders Point Dental offers a wide variety of general and cosmetic dentistry services for the whole family. We take care to make each office visit as productive and enjoyable as possible. New Patient Exam
Each new patient exam includes a comprehensive oral exam, digital x-rays, periodontal charting and oral cancer screening. We will take the time to listen to your concerns and partner with you to deliver the best dental solution possible. We can often provide a cleaning during the same appointment to save you time!

 Child Exam & Cleanings
We LOVE KIDS! We encourage visits from all children ages 2 and up. Our service includes full mouth exam, digital x-rays (when permitted by child), cleaning, fluoride application and sealants where appropriate. Our team is great with kids and each treatment room is equipped with on-demand children’s programming through Apple TV®. We also provide nitrous (when necessary and approved by parent/guardian) and we can often avoid using any shots! We promise to make your child's visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and will send them home with a toy for being such a great patient!

Cleanings/Prophylactic Treatment
We offer regular cleanings as well as deep cleanings, called scaling and root planing, based on the recommendation of the dentist. We use the latest in ultrasonic technology to remove plaque and tartar build-up beneath the gumline. Where appropriate, we will also recommend fluoride application, sealants and Arestin®, a locally administered antibiotic proven to kill bacteria associated with periodontal disease. We focus on prevention to help you maintain a healthy smile and also because prevention significantly reduces the lifetime cost of dental care.

 Bridges
A
fixed bridge is a permanent prosthetic device meant to replace one or more missing teeth, thereby “bridging” the space between two teeth. A fixed bridge typically consists of three units - a pontic (a false tooth) fused between two crowns that are cemented onto the prepared teeth. We offer both porcelain and gold bridges.

 Crowns
A crown is a permanent, custom-made “cap” that fits over a tooth that has been prepared due to a significant loss of tooth structure from decay or damage. Crowns are made of a variety of different materials such as porcelain and gold. We use the highest quality labs in Indianapolis to ensure that your crown fits well and is made with the best materials.

Dentures
Dentures are removable prosthetic devices designed to replace missing teeth.
We offer both complete and partial dentures.

Extractions
The removal of a tooth. There are many circumstances under which the removal of a tooth may be recommended or necessary. Dr. Sang is frequently complimented on his extractions and patients say he is quick and painless!

 Root Canals
A root canal is a procedure where infected pulp is removed and the center of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Symptoms of an infected pulp include prolonged sensitivity to hot and cold, severe toothache upon chewing, darkening of the tooth and swelling and tenderness of the surrounding gums. If you have any of these symptoms, please call our office right away.

 Tooth-colored fillings
Resin composite fillings are bonded into prepared teeth where decay has been removed. The bonding process allows us to remove much less healthy tooth structure compared to older amalgam (silver) fillings, which are held in place by mechanical retention. The result is a smaller, much more natural looking restoration that will last through years of service.
